Our purpose
Balance That Builds Possibility
Digital life is not the enemy. It can be a place where creativity, focus, connection and confidence already exist. Kids Fitness First wants to help young people carry those strengths into more parts of life.
The charity is developing a modular programme for young people aged 16–24. The aim is to make progress feel possible through smaller creative, practical, social and work-related steps.
Information and awareness may support children, young people and families more broadly. Vocational practical activity belongs to the programme for ages 16–24.
Our values
How We Intend to Work
The programme is still developing. These principles guide the decisions being made now.
Strength first
Begin with interests, abilities and conditions for success—not a list of deficits.
Balance, not blame
Respect the positive role of technology while making space for wider participation.
Progress in steps
Use manageable modules so learning and achievement are easier to recognise.
Many pathways
Keep digital, creative, practical, community and employment routes open.
Learn responsibly
Listen carefully, learn from each opportunity and improve the approach over time.
Work together
Build progress with young people, families, mentors and partner organisations.
